Tazrah is a Quran recitation application that provides automated recitation scoring and pronunciation error identification to assist users in improving their recitation.

The App currently provides free features. Subscription features may be introduced in the future.

Automated scoring is provided as a support tool and does not replace guidance from qualified teachers or professional advice.

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Provide automated recitation scoring and pronunciation error identification
• Track recitation progress
• Operate, maintain, and improve the App
• Maintain security and prevent misuse
• Provide customer and technical support

We use your email address only for:

• Account authentication
• Account management
• Service-related communications
• Customer support

We do not use your email address for marketing or promotional communications.

Automated scoring does not make legal, financial, or similarly significant decisions about you.

The App does not currently offer paid subscriptions.

If subscription features are introduced in the future, payments will be processed through platform providers such as Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

We do not collect or store payment card or billing information.

When you submit recitation audio for scoring:

• The audio is processed temporarily to generate scoring and error identification
• The audio is automatically deleted after processing
• We do not store or retain voice recordings
• We do not use voice recordings to train artificial intelligence models

The App may include Quran text, recitations, translations, or related materials obtained from third party content providers.

Such content remains the intellectual property of its respective owners.

We do not claim ownership of third party Quran content.

We retain the following while your account remains active:

• Account information
• Recitation scoring results
• Progress records

Audio recordings are not stored.

Aggregated or anonymised usage information may be retained for performance and service improvement.

We do not sell your personal data.

We may use trusted third party service providers to operate the App, including:

• Authentication providers
• Cloud infrastructure providers
• Platform providers such as Google and Apple
• Technical support service providers

These providers process data only to support the operation of the App and are required to safeguard your information.

We may disclose information if required by law or lawful authority.

Your information may be processed or stored on secure servers located outside your country of residence.

We take reasonable measures to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect your personal information.

However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

You may:

• Update your account information within the App
• Delete your account within the App

Account deletion will result in removal of your personal data, subject to operational and legal requirements.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time.

Updated versions will be published within the App.

Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Notice.

Tazrah collects your device's location data (precise and approximate location) to provide the following features:

• Qibla Compass – to determine the direction of the Qibla relative to your current position
• Prayer Times – to calculate accurate prayer times based on your geographic location
• Nearby Mosques – to display mosques near your current location on the map

Location data may also be accessed in the background to deliver timely prayer time notifications. Your location data is processed locally on your device. We do not store, share, or sell your location data to any third parties. Location access requires your explicit permission and can be revoked at any time through your device settings.

Tazrah may access your device's camera or photo library to allow you to set a profile picture. Photos are uploaded securely and are not shared with third parties.

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as app opens, feature usage, and crash reports. This data helps us improve the app experience. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
