These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Tazrah mobile application. By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App.

1. Eligibility

1.1 You must be at least 18 years old to create a User Account.

1.2 Individuals under 18 may only use the App through non-identifying learning profiles created and managed by a parent or legal guardian under the Family Plan.

1.3 Minors are not allowed to register their own User Accounts.

1.4 The parent or legal guardian is responsible for:

  • Creating and managing all profiles for minors
  • Supervising the minor's use of the App
  • Ensuring that the minor's use complies with these Terms

1.5 By creating a User Account, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into these Terms and that any minors using the App do so under your supervision.

2. Account Registration and Security

2.1 You must sign in using Google Login or Apple Login.

2.2 You must complete your Registration Information which includes full name, phone number, date of birth, and gender.

2.3 You are responsible for securing your User Account.

2.4 You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access.

3. Subscription Plans

3.1 Individual Plan

  • One user
  • Learning progress stored under the main User Account
  • No learning profiles

3.2 Family Plan

  • Up to four additional learning profiles
  • Profiles must be used by household members only
  • You are responsible for all profile activities

3.3 Payment

  • All payments are processed through our authorised bank payment gateway
  • We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other financial credentials

3.4 Refund Policy

  • We do not offer refunds for subscription fees
  • Refunds will only be provided where required by the laws of Brunei Darussalam

4. Learning Profiles

4.1 Learning profiles do not contain personal identifying information.

4.2 Profiles may store learning progress, recitation attempts, AI feedback, and ustaz or ustazah feedback.

4.3 Profile names must be appropriate.

4.4 You are responsible for ensuring profile usage follows these Terms.

5. Use of the App

5.1 Permitted Use

You may use the App for Quran learning, recitation practice, and educational purposes. Family Plan accounts may be used for household learning.

5.2 Prohibited Use

You must not:

  • Use the App for unlawful or harmful activities
  • Upload inappropriate, offensive, or abusive content
  • Reverse engineer, manipulate, or tamper with the App
  • Resell or misuse AI generated outputs
  • Impersonate other individuals
  • Share account access with non household members

6. AI Feedback and Ustaz/Ustazah Assessment

6.1 AI Feedback

  • The AI module provides supportive learning feedback
  • AI output is guidance and may not always be fully accurate
  • AI feedback does not replace evaluation by a qualified ustaz or ustazah

6.2 Ustaz/Ustazah Assessment

  • Feedback is provided by ustaz or ustazah who hold certifications recognised by the Majlis Ugama Islam Brunei (MUIB)
  • Feedback is educational and not a religious certification or endorsement
  • We do not guarantee response times or availability

7. Quran Content and Third Party Sources

7.1 Quranic materials may be sourced from reputable providers.

7.2 All Quranic content remains the property of its owners.

7.3 We do not alter Quranic text.

7.4 We are not responsible for errors from third party providers.

7.5 We are not responsible for any delays, interruptions, or errors caused by third-party Quran content providers or API services.

7.6 Quran text provided within the App is for learning and recitation purposes only and may not be reproduced or redistributed without permission from the respective content owners.

8. Payments

  • Payments are processed through our authorised bank payment gateway.
  • We do not store sensitive financial data.
  • You must ensure your payment information and selected subscription plan are accurate.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All rights in the App belong to Tazrah Digital Sdn. Bhd.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App.
  • You may not use our branding without permission.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or compromise system security. You may delete your account at any time. We may also suspend accounts to investigate suspected misuse.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • The App is provided "as is" and "as available".
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free operation.
  • We are not responsible for inaccuracies in AI feedback, teacher assessments, or third party quran content.
  • We are not liable for data loss, service interruptions, delays in teacher responses, or error caused by third-party providers
  • We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App

12. Privacy

Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy.

13. Child Safety Notice

We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18 who attempt to register. Minors may only use the App through learning profiles supervised by a parent or guardian.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and will post changes in the App. Continued use of the App after any update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brunei Darussalam.
