Tazrah is a Quran learning platform designed to help learners practise, improve and build confidence in their recitation.By combining technology with guidance from qualified asatizah, Tazrah supports learners in practising more consistently while keeping guidance from asatizah an important part of Quran learning.Our goal is simple: to make quality Quran learning more accessible, wherever learners may be.
Why We Built Tazrah
Learning the Quran is a continuous journey. However, access to regular guidance may not always be easy. Time, location, availability of asatizah and individual circumstances can make consistent learning challenging.
Tazrah was created to help bridge this gap.
Technology gives learners more opportunities to practise between lessons and wherever they may be. At the same time, we believe technology cannot replace the knowledge, judgement and guidance of qualified asatizah.
Tazrah therefore brings both together: technology to support more frequent and accessible practice, and asatizah to provide the guidance that remains essential to Quran learning.
AI as a Tool, Not a Replacement
Artificial intelligence is an important part of Tazrah, but its role is clear: AI supports practice. It does not replace asatizah.
Through Murajaah, AI provides immediate feedback during independent recitation practice, helping learners identify areas that may require further attention.
However, Quran learning goes beyond what technology alone can provide. Understanding mistakes, receiving appropriate correction and improving one's recitation continue to benefit from the knowledge and guidance of qualified asatizah.

Murajaah enables learners to practise their Quran recitation and receive immediate feedback, making it easier to practise regularly outside formal learning sessions.
Receive Guidance from Asatizah
Learners can submit their recitation for review by qualified asatizah, providing human feedback and guidance alongside independent practice.
Build Consistency
Learning tools, progress tracking and challenges encourage learners to continue engaging with the Quran consistently.
Support Everyday Muslim Life
Prayer times, Qibla direction and other supporting features provide convenient access to everyday Islamic tools within the Tazrah app.

Tazrah is designed not only for individual learners, but also to support wider Quran learning initiatives.

Built in Brunei,

Tazrah was developed in Brunei Darussalam with the aspiration of making Quran learning more accessible through the responsible use of technology.
Brunei is where we build, test and strengthen Tazrah's approach before expanding into other markets.
As Tazrah grows beyond Brunei, we recognise that language, learning practices, religious guidance and local requirements may differ across markets. Our expansion will therefore take place progressively, with appropriate localisation and consideration of relevant local requirements.
Our priority is not simply to bring Tazrah to more countries, but to ensure that it remains relevant, responsible and beneficial to the communities we serve.

Tazrah is owned and operated by Tazrah Digital Sdn Bhd, a company incorporated in Brunei Darussalam.
The Tazrah mobile application is distributed through Apple App Store and Google Play developer accounts maintained by Nextacloud Technologies Sdn Bhd, Tazrah's technology partner.
This distribution arrangement does not change the ownership and operation of the Tazrah platform by Tazrah Digital Sdn Bhd.
